Wanda Boeri is an immigration attorney with more than 20 years of experience serving immigrant families, workers, and communities with dedication and compassion. She was born and educated as an attorney in Argentina, where her passion for the law began at an early age while walking courthouse halls beside her mother, also an attorney. That early exposure shaped her belief that the law is not just a profession but a commitment to helping others.
In 2004 she moved to the United States and arrived in Los Angeles with no English skills and no experience practicing law in this country. What she did have was determination. Shortly after settling in LA she was hired by an Argentine attorney who opened the door to her first opportunity in the legal field. Even with limited English and no immigration law background she learned quickly. From family based petitions and employment visas to asylum and removal defense she immersed herself in every area of immigration law.
Wanda later joined another Argentine attorney where she spent the next fifteen years dedicated exclusively to immigration cases. Working primarily as a senior paralegal she gained rare hands-on experience across complex matters that shaped her into a seasoned and deeply knowledgeable immigration professional.
Nearly two decades into her career Wanda decided it was time to formally revalidate her legal credentials. A new opportunity took her to Puerto Rico and at the age of 46 she stepped back into the classroom. She enrolled at the Interamerican University School of Law in Puerto Rico and graduated Summa Cum Laude. She later returned to Los Angeles as a licensed attorney, ready to continue her mission of serving immigrant communities. Today Wanda proudly serves as an attorney at The Cruz Law Office where she continues her lifelong dedication to guiding immigrants through some of the most important legal journeys of their lives.
Her journey is a testament to resilience, perseverance, and purpose. Wanda believes it is never too late to grow, learn, and pursue a new chapter in service to others.
